LOCO LIFESTYLE / FAITH

FAITH

GOD. PRAYER. CREATION. GRATITUDE. STRUGGLE. PURPOSE.

WHAT FAITH MEANS HERE

NOT A DECORATION. NOT A PERFORMANCE.

Faith is part of how I make sense of gratitude, pain, endurance, silence, beauty, and the fact that I am still here.

Some of it happens in words. Some of it happens in prayer. Some of it happens when I am alone outside long enough for the noise to fall away and the world feels larger than whatever I carried into it.

STILLNESS

SOME PRAYERS ARE NOTHING MORE THAN NOTICING.

First light. A quiet ridge. A long pause. The kind of moment that does not ask me to explain anything before I can feel grateful for it.

FEATURED SPIRITUAL STORY

At one of the lowest points of my life, a drive with no real destination led me through the gate of a Vietnamese Buddhist monastery in Bonsall.

I went up the hill curious. What followed became years of practice, meditation, compassion, and questions — and eventually part of the road that led me to Christ.

THE PRACTICE

BELIEF HAS TO SURVIVE REAL LIFE.

01

PRAYER

Not always answers. Sometimes the courage to keep listening.

02

GRATITUDE

Paying attention to what remains good even when life is complicated.

03

CREATION

Mountains, water, sky, weather, and silence can restore proportion.

04

PURPOSE

Trying to live deliberately instead of moving through life half-awake.

FAITH

SOME PRAYERS ARE SPOKEN.
SOME ARE WALKED.
